Magnesium chloride Brine (Oil)

Zechstein Inside® Magnesium Brine is a 31% concentration of magnesium in water. The brine is the original format that Zechstein magnesium is extracted from the underground layer. This is in fact the highest possible concentration of magnesium chloride. (Higher concentrations will start to crystallize.)

Zechstein Inside® Magnesium Brine is clear in color and has an oily consistency. It must be noted that it is not an oil. The common name Magnesium Oil comes from the oily feel that Magnesium Brine has due to its very high salinity.

ZECHSTEIN INSIDE® Magnesium Flakes

Zechstein Inside ® Magnesium Flakes are highly concentrated pure magnesium crystals with 47% magnesium concentration. They are produced by evaporating the water from the brine.

Zechstein Inside Magnesium Flakes can be sold as is for bath or foot bath applications. Magnesium Flakes can also be mixed with other natural bath salts, clay, essential oils. By adding magnesium flakes the end product will have a higher magnesium concentration.

Zechstein Inside ® scrub gel base is a fantastic ready made product. It is magnesium gel with addition of eco-harvested Atlantic salt for extra scrubbing consistency. Similarly to the gel, magnesium scrub can be customized with other ingredients. It is a scrub best applied to dry skin. Once the skin comes into contact with water the magnesium bonding with water molecules will create a pleasant light warming effect. It is also softening and moisturizing to the skin while the salt and the magnesium work to gently exfoliate.
